I bought my first T6 from Adventure Style Campers and the service from them from start to finish was brilliant. Constant contact and pics of the conversion and they made every part of the process easy and enjoyable. A brilliant and reliable company that I’ve recommended to my friends and family.
Took my Transporter T6 to Adventure Style Campers for kombi seat installation, sound deadening, insulation and carpet lining. Adventure Style Campers had my T6.1 in for camper glass window cut out and installation as well as removing the bulk head metal trim ready for both carpeting and swivel seat base, its first steps toward a full camper conversion. These are both jobs I was not confident in carrying out myself, nor do I have the tools / facilities.
Dan was great from the get go, inviting me to view some current projects to help me decide on the exact window type I wanted to go for and talking me through the process. I felt confident in his work and at ease knowing they are fully insured and no strangers to conversions.
The van was with them for a day and a half, Dan kept me updated whilst the van was with him and even informed me of a couple of small issues I was unaware of (damp under the seats from the rain water off my boots - floor mats pending!).
Collecting the van I was extremely happy with the windows and trim, all very neat and tidy. This has already made a huge difference on the van aesthetically. Dan even went to the trouble of treating/sealing the screw holes where the previous owner had secured ply boarding to the floor, something I had passed comment on when I dropped the van off.
Overall it’s been a great experience with Adventure Style Campers, from my first phone call right through to completion and since. They were professional, knowledgeable and fairly priced for the works carried out.
Having seen and heard of some horror stories from forums and Facebook groups I was naturally cautious beginning this process and leaving my van in the care of somebody else (especially with leaks or windows falling out! - However we’ve had several torrential downpours since and not a drop of water has made it inside) but i can confidently say I would highly recommend Dan and ASC and have already received a quote for the next steps in the conversion. .
